A new species of genus Patania Moore, 1888 from India (Lepidoptera: Crambidae, Spilomelinae)

In this article, we describe a new species, Patania shompen Singh & Ahmad, sp. n. from Great Nicobar Island. The differential diagnosis of the species is provided with iopasalis (Walker, 1859), obfuscalis (Yamanaka, 1998) and clava Xu Du, 2016.
